You can upgrade the headunit to an aftermarket one. Price can range from S$200+ up till S$1000+.
Some popular brands are Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.
All the latest units should support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto so on and so forth.
Maybe let us know your budget and the members can suggest something?

Anyone find the ride for 2016 vitara too stiff or uncomfortable over uneven surface? Do you think is suspension or tyre issue? Anyone upgrade the shock / coilover? Please advise, thank you
Have you checked your tyre pressures? If it is within OEM specs, then it would seem that the suspension is too hard. Not sure if you are using aftermarket coilovers (in which case you can adjust them softer). Otherwise, you can consider getting new OEM struts or even aftermarket coilovers so you will have better adjustability.

Changing to 225 is ok. For 235 with 16 inch rims, please do check your steering clearance from lock to lock to make sure it doesn't rub on the fenders. What new rims are you considering?

It is normal for a car to idle higher when doing a "cold-start". 1,500rpm sounds about right for a "cold-start" idle and 900rpm thereafter sounds perfectly fine as well. You don't have anything to worry about.

You can try BC Racing coilovers - under 1k fitted, have heard good reviews.

Have you tried calling the stockist or checking out the scrapyards?

Frequency: 315mHz OR 433mHz
Transponder Chip: ID46
Seems there are a couple of frequencies depending on the market.
Why not bring to a key duplication shop and just get them to do it? Or even Champion Motors?

Anyone bought the new Jimny yet? Very interesting car to say the deal. Maybe we can have a list of current/future Jimny owners here?

Try using the online insurance quote from each of the providers as a gauge. New swift 1.0 insurance should be cheap.
Agreed. The online quotations are actually quite competitive. Weird though that you got quoted 1.4k for a new Swift. Are you a new driver / p-plater?

Looks awesome, what do you think? This really would be a budget Mercedes-Benz G wagon!
