  • GR90s are pretty expensive... esp in 18" size! Were you running on the stock Yokohama tyres before? Those are supposed to be quiet tyres too and you can hear a significant difference? And by the way I suppose you mean ride comfort increased and not decreased right?

How much was the damage for the new GR90s? I used the have GR80s on 2 of my older cars. Great tyres!

My Yokohamas have lots of thread left but I have had 2 punctures and 4 nails altogether in 3 months! These tyres are nail magnets!

  • yes, was on yokohama (235/45/18) and with gr-90, the differences are apparent, yes again, comfort improves, noise reduces..  ;D

the gr-90 cost me a whopping $1.4k, very expensive but i thought it was a fair deal given the age of the tires and gains achieved.

strangely, i didn't get any nails to the old yoko but had one recently on my gr-90! fortunately not much damage, just luck i suppose

  • That's the one, the sale was based on AA giving their thumbs up... I haven't heard from him today so not sure of the status.

    I got it from here-
    https://www.facebook.com/pages/Customised-Car-Mats-Singapore/277450652329297
Seller is a guy called Ian.
His source seems to have the cut outs for all kinds of cars, including my brother's brand new Mazda 6 model. So I am very sure he would have the Swift's.
Nice guy from my interaction (brief) with him.
I found him from the Civic FD club. There was a $5 discount for it (total cost $65) which I suppose if you say you found him off a car forum he will extend to you also...

  • Drove into a relative's driveway to pick up my family doing CNY visitation and he came up to me and said "That is the biggest Suzuki I have ever seen! What is it!?"
It's sad this car is so unknown... No wonder Suzuki died in the USA.
