2008 swift oil filter assembly leak - advice please ?

  • Hi there,

Just wanting to see if anyone else has had this happen to them? The leak seems to be coming from the oil filter assembly which is fastened to the block by 3 bolts and the oil filter screws onto.

I’ve seen a thread posted here about something smiler but there was no result.  So thought I should try my luck to see if anyone can give me some advice about this ?

    Thanks !!

  • Quite normal on Swift these age. Change out the O-ring or gasket and re-tighten and all should be good again.

Be sure to check the engine oil level to make sure not too much oil has leaked out. Top up if necessary.
