  • I just bought a 2006 swift sport. When I was testing the car I noticed the rev limiter kicked in at 6k, is that normal or is there a problem?

6000RPM, when u stationary? Or when u hard driving?
A good tuning car must be something that you can take out to the streets.  The car must be fun, fast and safe on all kinds of road conditions.

  • Yeah just realized the limiter is lowering neutral...

Is there anything else I should check before the agent hands it over to me?

Just ensure all the wiring, tires repair kit, comp-ressor airpump etc... but since your already signed the paper, nothing much can be done.....

  • yes, the rev limit will be lower when in neutral.. this is to protect the engine from over-rev.. very common in a lot of other cars..

    don't worry.. ^_^
