Anyone tried 205/50 or 55 on 16"? Tyres enthusiats can recommend good brand? Comfort/less noise but grippy on both wet n dry? Tread life not so concern but 40/50k shud be alrite.

Another bro here got good reviews on the Kumho KU31. About $80/pc.

What's your budget? Michelin would be best but of course the most expensive!

Oohhh.. never tried Kumho before lah. Some mentioned that bcos its performance it gives off noise. Would be glad to tumpang an owners' ride to hear/feel experience Kumho. Used Bridgst EP200 & Yoko Ae50 before. $80/pc sounds good.

SX4 rims and tyres original setup with either 205/16 or 195/65 feels like high macam SUV when driving. View from front windscreen looks wide. I enjoy it though.

Bros EarthA bought at $130, good tyres previous used Yoko Earth 1.
Good griping on wet & Dry surfaces, with good road highway put to free gear (N) at 120km rolling, no noise heard.
cheers

To determine if a tire is good, do consider the tread wear as well.  The higher u choose, the slippery u may encounter due to its harder compound.
A good tuning car must be something that you can take out to the streets.  The car must be fun, fast and safe on all kinds of road conditions.

Chaselim, u meant higher as refer to profiles? SX4 original setup on 195/65 on 15" but if were up upsize then 205/60 on 16". Not sure if these were really recommended by Suzuki but a check at wheel size webpage gave the other alternative. Any comment for 205/55 or 50 profiles? Just tot that maybe wheel well area have more gaps lah?

Those nice garang 16" tyres offered doesn't seem to have 60 profiles lah... I shan't go to discuss abt lowering suspension.
