thanks everybody for your response, I don't intend to go for extreme mod. What intend to get is the response of the car. as traveling in malaysia often, i need to pickup faster when overtaking if not it will be dangerous.

If that's the concern, then consider:

1) K&N Drop in Filter and CAI;

2) 15 Inch, 195/50/15;

3) Pivot 3 drive; and also do install a

4) ATF cooler for your GB.

Not extreme but sufficient for your trip in Malaysia.

A good tuning car must be something that you can take out to the streets.  The car must be fun, fast and safe on all kinds of road conditions.

Next, consider increasing the CR (compressor Ratio). Increase from current 9:1, to 11:1. Install a unchip to tune the open loop and advance the ignition timing. Having a AFR of 14.8 to 15.7 would be ideal.

i'm interested to know how to increase so much of compression ratio?

Traditional and standard way, skim the cylinder head la bro.... Hehehe.

But after doing, wil need to do a few more items to prevent engine knocking.

then how about sss skim head and the compression ratio increase.. sure the engine will knock..
and singapore only have ron98.. go malaysia more worst.. only got 97..
so how to solve this?

SX4 Low CR which is the most ideal for Forced induction, already seen one running 185 ps on the dyno. Running low boost so no major mods... Sleeper..

I suggest don't waste time on legal mods. It waste of money n time. Straight go to force induction if u want real power. Interested Pm me for this tc kit. Confirm solid shxxxx....pssss.....
